This is a hybrid role with two days per week at Cisco's RTP office. Alternate locations will be considered on an exception basis.

Members of the Finance organization at select locations will generally be expected to follow a hybrid work model, which includes two days of in-office attendance each week, with limited exceptions.
Meet the Team

The GSSO Security Financial Analyst is a highly visible and critical role within the Global Sales Specialists Organization, supporting ~$3.5B of bookings annually. You will play a key role in the weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting and reporting processes, providing detailed financial insights and analysis to drive business decisions and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role supports a distributed team, requiring collaboration across multiple time zones and the flexibility to work around a global clock to meet deliverables and business needs.

  • Lead the weekly and monthly GSSO Security forecast decks while delivering timely, accurate, and informational financial reporting, business metrics, and performance supporting-analysis to support WW Security.
  • Consolidate the GSSO GEO's forecast to report Security Forecast by GEO & Product.
  • GSSO Security main point of contact for forecast consolidation, distribution & reporting metrics, while empowering a distributed team.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with various organizations to understand their Security forecasts and the underlying drivers behind forecast updates
  • Maintain and build on the current financial models required to support forecasting for various "Bookings Types" (i.e Hardware / Software / Recurring / ACV)
  • Drive process simplification and operational excellence by finding opportunities for automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct pipeline analysis by monitoring top deals to identify challenges and opportunities within the business
  • Action ad hoc analysis, projects and etc.
  • Proactively analyze data to call out risk and opportunity in the Security business
  • Leverage AI to automate workflows
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a financial analyst, FP&A, Sales Finance, or related role, showing strength in core financial analysis responsibilities including identifying business trends, assessing risks and opportunities, and providing actionable analysis to support business decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to analyze financial data, identify key drivers and trends, and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Highly detail oriented and organized, with the capability to prioritise multiple deadlines, results, and priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and quality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to optimally communicate financial results, trends, risks, and opportunities to cross-functional and global partners.
  • Ability to take ownership of recurring financial processes, including collecting, validating, reconciling, and consolidating financial inputs.
  • Proven ability to identify and drive operational improvements and efficiencies within financial reporting and forecasting processes.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and proven ability to work with financial data and reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting a global organization and working with stakeholders across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Experience working with Finance and business systems, including Excel, FINBO, MBR, Power BI, Salesforce, or similar financial/reporting platforms.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, automation, or business processes.
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant advanced degree/certification.
  • n the Security business
