Full Job Description

Amentum is sourcing for a Finance Analyst, with a minimum of five (5) years of related experience in finance and/or budgeting, to analyze and forecast data relating to program budgets in support of Special Operations Command Pacific at Camp Smith, HI.

You would be an excellent candidate for this position if you:

  • Are a highly motivated team player who can take ownership of complex requirements;
  • Have experience preparing short- and long-range budgetary projections utilizing economic forecasting and financial analytic techniques to assess the impact of budget changes and client requirements; and
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that may include exercises, contingencies, surge operations, and OCONUS travel.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Decisively multi-task and proactively track all program level financial data
  • Perform duties in support of Month-End close and invoicing process, to include reconciliation of projects/accounts, review, and analysis of monthly financial data
  • Ensure compliance with both internal policies and procedures and the JTR, FAR, and DSSR.
  • Capable of leading a detailed financial review with program management
  • Create, maintain, and update financial databases and spreadsheets, and generate various financial reports as required
  • Track expenses, process invoices, and assist in budget monitoring and financial record-keeping tasks.
  • Work(s) with Program Management and Contracts to ensure all timely deliverables to customer
  • Accurately and effectively identify/escalate issues to financial management

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in finance, including government contracting experience for multiple type contracts (FFP, CPAF, T&M).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Note:  US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Requires understanding of all accounting and financial transactions to include cost review, reconciliation of accounts, and adjustments.
  • Team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Multi-tasker with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $135K - $165K (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
