Partners Pharmacy is seeking an experienced, hands-on Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee financial and accounting activities supporting two growing businesses: a pharmaceutical distribution company serving healthcare facilities and a healthcare technology company focused on automated pharmaceutical dispensing systems and related technology solutions.

This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting operations, analyzing business performance, and providing financial insight to support strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate is a strong accounting and finance professional who is equally comfortable working directly within the accounting function and partnering with operational teams and senior leadership. This individual will play an active role in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, business analytics, financing initiatives, sales presentations, and broader business strategy.

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities across both businesses.
• Maintain accurate books, records, and financial data within Oracle.
• Manage and oversee general ledger activity, account reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for financial accounts.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and other key financial metrics.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Maintain appropriate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax professionals, banks, and other financial partners as needed.

Operations & Business Partnership

• Partner closely with operational teams to understand business activity and ensure financial reporting accurately reflects operations.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to develop meaningful financial and operational reporting.
• Analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and communicate key findings to management.
• Develop, track, and report on KPIs relevant to pharmaceutical distribution and healthcare technology operations.
• Help leadership understand the financial impact of operational and commercial decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting, reporting, and financial processes as the businesses continue to grow.

Financing & Strategic Support

• Assist with the preparation of financing packages, lender materials, financial models, and supporting documentation.
• Support management in evaluating financing alternatives, capital requirements, and potential business investments.
• Prepare financial information and analysis for lenders, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Support the development of sales presentations, business proposals, and other commercial materials requiring financial analysis.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support pricing decisions, customer opportunities, capital investments, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
• Provide ongoing financial insight and recommendations to senior management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and/or finance experience, preferably within a hands-on operating environment.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
• Demonstrated experience with month-end close, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience working directly within an ERP system; Oracle experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
• Experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, pharmaceutical distribution, medical technology, or related industries is preferred but not required.
• CPA, MBA, or other relevant advanced qualification is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to effectively partner with operations, analytics, sales, and senior leadership.
• Strong attention to detail while maintaining an understanding of broader business objectives.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and adapt within a growing and evolving organization.
