Project Overview:

Fab 62 is an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility for Intel Corporation, located at Intel's Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. As part of this work, the M&T team is responsible for delivering the engineering, procurement, and construction scope required to complete and finish-out a leading-edge chipmaking facility - a highly demanding environment where precision, cleanliness, schedule certainty, and coordination across thousands of craft and professional personnel are essential to success. The project supports the continued expansion of domestic semiconductor manufacturing capacity, contributing to a more resilient technology supply chain while creating significant opportunity for the local Arizona workforce. Job Summary:

In this role, you will lead a team to interpret the financial and business requirements of contracts and monitor and manage the performance of the organization against the requirements, tax implications, and any special provisions affecting operations. You will establish administrative controls and reporting criteria to ensure systems, processes and reporting comply with business and regulatory requirements. #LI-ME1

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead project finance & accounting strategy and execution across earnings, invoicing, payables, payroll, accruals, tax, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee end-to-end client invoicing (CFR/SOC and other contractual invoice types), advance/concurrent funding requests, and CFR-to-SOC reconciliation; resolve unbilled and revenue variances.
  • Direct month-end close, accruals, and management reporting; deliver accurate financial data to support PM decision-making, GBU reviews, and Corporate consolidation.
  • Lead and develop the on-project F&A team - define structure, set priorities, supervise deliverables, mentor staff, and build a high-performing succession bench.
  • Serve as the senior financial partner to the Project Manager, Project Controls, Procurement, Tax, Treasury, and Risk Management on commercial, contractual, and financial matters.
  • Manage the project's financial control environment including approval authorities, segregation of duties, system access, and compliance with Bechtel Finance policies, Controller procedures, and serve as the primary contact for internal and external audits.
  • Interface with the client on financial matters including billing, payment, supporting documentation, audits, prompt payment compliance, and contract financial provisions.
  • Oversee project setup and close-out including input to sub-job structure, cost code design, system configuration (Oracle EBS, SAP, Aconex, eTrack, BBS interfaces)
  • Coordinate with BBS Billing, A/P, Payroll, and Project Accounting shared services; manage escalations, performance, and continuous improvement.


Education and Experience Requirements:

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Deep knowledge in EPC project finance and accounting including earnings methodology (CTC), CFR/SOC invoicing, unbilled/revenue management, accruals, and month-end close
  • Strong working knowledge of Bechtel Finance policies and Controller procedures
  • Proven F&A leadership capabilities including building structure, developing talent, managing performance, and partnering across Project Controls, Procurement, Tax, Treasury, and the client.
  • Proficiency and knowledge in Oracle EBS (and/or SAP) and Bechtel project systems (BEAMS, JADB, BBS workflows, eTrack, Aconex)
  • Excellent commercial and analytical judgment with the ability to interpret complex contract terms, resolve disputes, and advise project leadership on financial risk and opportunity.
  • Outstanding executive communication skills - able to brief GBU leadership, the Corporate Controller, external auditors, and senior client counterparts with clarity and confidence.
