Job Type: 14 month, On Going Contract, W2

Expected hours per week: 40 hours per week

Schedule: On-site, 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday

Pay Range: $39.28-$45.00 per hour

Job Description:

Position Overview

The Product Support Representative will provide advanced technical support to PV&V field teams, channel partners, and customers by troubleshooting complex product issues and supporting product problem resolution. This role will focus on diesel engine diagnostics, electrical and aftertreatment systems, and emerging battery electric vehicle technologies while helping strengthen the technical and customer support capabilities of channel partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex technical product problems using advanced diagnostic skills, internal systems, published technical resources, and established problem resolution processes.
  • Support PV&V field teams, channel partners, and customers by identifying root causes, analyzing technical data, and coordinating solutions across Engineering, Quality, and Product Support teams.
  • Review and analyze data from multiple sources to resolve technical issues related to new products, product updates, and field performance concerns.
  • Develop and author technical solutions, service bulletins, or support documentation that can be used by field teams and channel partners.
  • Assist with gathering and coordinating parts required for production intent updates or product improvement activities.
  • Travel periodically to customer or field locations throughout the U.S. and Canada to support complex problem resolution or assist with updates involving experimental or production intent parts.
  • Serve as a technical resource to other Product Support Representatives, Engineering teams, Quality Improvement teams, and internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Use Microsoft Office, Teams, and proprietary diagnostic tools/applications to document findings, communicate updates, and support troubleshooting activities.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum two-year degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Diesel Power Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Technology Management, or a combination of relevant education, technical skills, and applicable work experience.
  • Strong understanding of diesel engine diagnostics, including electrical systems and aftertreatment systems.
  • Hands-on electrical diagnostic experience is required.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn and use proprietary diagnostic tools and applications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work cross-functionally to drive problem resolution.
  • Willingness to travel periodically throughout the U.S. and Canada, approximately 10-20%.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Battery Electric Vehicle systems.
  • Experience working with agricultural, diesel, heavy equipment, or similar technical products.
  • Completion of an Agricultural Technology program or similar technical training.
  • Experience supporting field teams, dealerships, channel partners, or customers in a technical support capacity.
  • Prior exposure to product validation, product support, service engineering, or quality improvement environments.
