Qualifications

• Graduate of a 2-4 year vocational technical school or equivalent experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Proficient in computer use and software (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Ability to stand for up to eight hours and perform various physical tasks.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods to customer sites.
• Experience working at a Caterpillar dealership or with CAT products preferred.
• Strong background in natural gas and diesel engines, including knowledge of electrical and hydraulic components.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Caterpillar engines and transmissions, including all phases of technical and failure analysis.
• Troubleshoot gas and diesel engines along with their electrical systems.
• Plan and organize multiple assigned projects while managing job costs effectively.
• Investigate and identify issues to make informed recommendations for problem resolution.
