Field Supervisor

What will you be doing! - Leading and supporting a team of trades and lead hands to ensure safe, efficient execution of maintenance and construction activities
- Setting performance expectations, conducting performance reviews, coaching, and development planning
- Participating in hiring, career development, and disciplinary processes
- Reviewing and approving work plans, work packages, and fabrication/construction approaches
- Coordinating schedules and resources with maintenance teams to ensure work is completed on time and meets customer expectations
- Maintaining a strong field presence to support safety, quality, and productivity
- Leading pre-job briefs, post-job reviews, and daily coordination activities
- Monitoring and working toward achieving KPI targets for the team/zone
- Supporting meetings, reporting, and operational alignment activities (POW, safety, planning, etc.)
- Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with all organizational and regulatory requirements
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.
What we are looking for: - Education
- Post-secondary education with a minimum of 5 years of technical or maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience
- Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a technical or maintenance environment
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrated strong leadership capability with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop others
- Demonstrated experience working within regulated environments and applying company procedures and union agreements
- Strong understanding of construction, fabrication, installation, and inspection practices
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, drawings, and complex construction documents
- Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills with the initiative to resolve issues and coordinate resources effectively
- Experience with systems such as CMMS, Oracle, or similar tools
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors
- Security Clearance Eligibility Required
- Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's "Standard on Security Screening" and the "Policy on Government Security."
Working Conditions:- Working schedule: Four (4) days per week, ten (10) hours per day for a forty (40) hour work week.
