Field Service Technician - Residential Electrician

Location: Clayton, NC (Serving the Raleigh-Durham Area)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 annually + Commission

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician - Residential Electrician to provide residential electrical services throughout the Raleigh-Durham area.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, residential electrical experience, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service. This position is well suited for an electrician who enjoys hands-on field work, customer interaction, and the freedom to manage daily service assignments independently.

Technicians will travel directly from home to job sites, assess customer electrical needs, provide repair recommendations, and complete electrical work safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems.
  • Evaluate homeowners' electrical needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Perform electrical repairs, upgrades, installations, and maintenance.
  • Ensure all work complies with residential electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Meet with homeowners, explain findings, and present clear service options.
  • Complete approximately 3-4 residential service calls per day.
  • Coordinate daily assignments with the dispatch team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of completed work, materials used, and service activities.
  • Provide professional customer service and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Travel directly from home to assigned job sites without requiring daily office visits.
Required Qualifications
