What You Will Be Doing:
This Position is for a member of the Capability Deployment Team (CDT) as part of the F-35 Field Operations and Logistics Solutions teams, responsible for support/integration of Block 30/40 capabilities by direct interface with USMC, USN, USAF, Partners, Operational Test and fleet squadrons. The mission is to provide comprehensive support to all F-35 Customers encompassing all aspects of the Air Vehicle as well as all tasks related to daily sustainment of the F-35 Air System. This position will work closely with Sustainment Life Cycle Management, Product Lifecycle Management, Engineering Project Office, Product Support Engineering, Integrated Product Teams, Program Management and LM engineering with the expectation to help develop solutions to challenges faced by field maintainers as well as seek all opportunities to streamline maintenance procedures through updates to Joint Technical Data, Anomaly & Fault Resolution System (AFRS), Prognostics and Health Management (PHM), and Action Requests (ARs). Expected core knowledge span the full scope of the F-35 program to include Support Equipment, Pilot Flight Equipment (PFE), technical data, supply, engineering, as well as all aspects of sustainment and will involve engagement at all levels from flightline maintainers and backshop support agencies to senior leaders at the Joint Program Office, Lightning Support Team, Department of War, Partner nations, Foreign Military Sales, and LM. A solid understanding of the customers' tactical and strategic vision for the F-35 is required, along with the ability to communicate and coordinate across multiple LM engineering partners and other supporting agencies to resolve fleet-wide challenges.
In this role you will conduct regular on-site visits to build confidence and strong relationships with customers while delivering briefings and hands-on support to maintenance and operations personnel on Mission Systems (MS), Vehicle Systems (VS), and related sustainment issues. Additionally, the ability to provide real-time troubleshooting of MS and VS problems to minimize impacts on operational, training and test missions based on maintenance expertise as part of fifth-generation fighter employment considerations for Block 30/40 and subsequent F-35 capability development. Continual support of follow-on development activities is directly tied to collaboration with PHM, AFRS, and PSE points of contact to create accurate maintenance solutions, identify inaccuracies, and chart corrective pathways. The role continuously reviews ARs across the fleet to detect anomalies, share repair and troubleshooting procedures, and evaluate Time Compliance Technical Directives (TCTD)for software/hardware upgrades to ensure clear, concise guidance to reduce aircraft downtime. Daily monitoring of Field Service Engineer (FSE) pass-downs helps spot trends and flag situations needing additional assistance to return aircraft to service. Participation in the System Product Anomaly Report board provides insight into future capability limitations and is then translated into refined TCTDs/OTRs for communication to FSEs and fleet maintainers. This team supports global efforts thus off duty and weekend work may be required to include up to 50% of travel time.
Basic Qualifications
• Position requires ability to qualify for Special Access Programs security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field, STEM discipline or relevant experience
• Ability to develop and present executive level briefs and communications
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
Desired skills
• Fighter flight line maintenance experience preferred, specifically F-35 Avionics
• Experience in problem/fault isolation and analysis as well as troubleshooting aircraft discrepancies
• ALIS CMMS/SHM experience
• Understanding of/experience in F-35 logistics
• Experience using PDM, AFRS, VAS, JTD
Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $93,800 - $162,610. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
