Full Job Description
We are currently looking for a Field Sales Engineer to join our team! This individual will identify and engage with top building owners, architectural, engineering, general contractor, and design firms targeted within chosen metro markets with the goal of adding CCNA products on the master specification and driving sales of specified products. This is a remote role, with preference for candidates to be located in major markets within the Eastern United States. Primary responsibilities • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key architectural, engineering, and design firms to influence product specifications and drive specification conversions. • Create, recommend, and execute specification programs across targeted markets to achieve annual conversion and growth objectives. • Provide technical training, product application guidance, and code-related support to architects, engineers, designers, building owners, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs). • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer insights to identify opportunities and drive specification growth strategies. • Support the sales team by providing technical expertise, interpreting engineering reports and building codes, and demonstrating design equivalency for key projects. • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to develop and execute specification selling plans while providing Voice of Customer insights to support the CBI pipeline. • Measure program effectiveness, monitor results, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and business growth. • Additional responsibilities as assigned Qualification: • Bachelor's degree in engineering required; Master's degree preferred. • 3+ years of technical sales or specification-selling experience; PE license or progress toward licensure preferred. • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively influence multiple decision-makers. • Ability to read construction drawings, analyze project specifications, and interpret building code requirements. • Results-oriented with strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and excellent follow-through. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel. Compensation Information: The pay range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000. Base pay within this range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant skills, experience, and education This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive plan/sales incentive plan.
