Job DescriptionThe Outside Property Consultant II investigates and confirms the facts of loss for advanced homeowner claims. The role determines coverage, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within limit of authority. The position creates or audits a comprehensive estimate of damages for first party homeowner claims leading to the proper disposition.
We are hiring for a Property Field Adjuster to support the Kane and Cook County, Illinois territory. This team supports our premier clients and is seeking a seasoned professional with strong communication and customer service skills. In this role, you will handle a variety of property claims, including water-related losses and roof claims, many of which can be high-value and complex in nature.Key Responsibilities- Possesses a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
- Possesses strong estimating fundamentals in order to create or audit estimates of damages on first party homeowner losses with complexity
- Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines
- Evaluates settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices and makes decisions on best option
- Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files across multiple lines
Supervisory Responsibilities- This job does not have supervisory duties.
As a requirement of employment, individuals who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments at any point during employment. Applicants seeking an adjuster role who also hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed to by the licensing team. CompensationCompensation offered for this role is 65,600.00 - 110,075.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
