Project Coordinator

What you will do

You will plan, coordinate, and help facilitate the execution of delivering, start up and commissioning of Silent-Aire products in a construction/manufacturing environment.

This is a remote position that will require 25% travel.

How you will do it

  • Facilitate Project Managers for cross-department initiatives.

  • Schedule and scribe kickoff/recurring meetings, develop meeting agendas, and manage stakeholder communication by following up on status to ensure deliverables and milestones are met.

  • Compile data from numerous sources based on project scope and progress; summarize data and prepare recommendations to management based on findings.

  • Administer the schedule of assigned projects and tasks from inception to closeout to ensure results are achieved.

  • Organize, track, and communicate information critical to the operations and manufacturing departments to help ensure goals are met and important items are monitored and addressed in a timely manner.

  • Organize files on the server for projects.

  • Organize and coordinate all aspects of the “Ship Loose” shipments for projects.

  • Be efficient and effective in multi-tasking, working within a team, both on day to day and project-oriented tasks.

  • Manage tasks effectively and complete projects as expected.

  • Use analytical abilities, team building and motivation skills to help organize resources, meet tight deadlines, manage simultaneously occurring tasks and shifting priorities, and control project change.

  • Work both independently and as part of a departmental team in executing a variety of projects. Communicate with program managers, project directors, other departments and trades. Work directly with clients and handle sensitive situations and flow of information.

Required:

  • A University or College degree; business or engineering

  • 1+ years of direct work experience in project management

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods

  • Intuitive grasp of organizational structure to manage cross-departmental and cross-disciplinary resource allocation

  • Highly effective negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolutions skills

  • Superb creation and facilitation of meetings, feedback sessions, and briefings to create consensus among stakeholders

  • Able to effectively communicate with all types of staff, technical professionals, and upper management

  • Strong knowledge of Internet technologies and Microsoft Office. (Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

  • Capabilities of working in Procore & Smartsheet

  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills

  • Ability to create and edit project documents, materials, and presentations

  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing

  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients, business units, corporate departments, key managers, and other stakeholders

  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines

  • Occasional travel to different field worksite locations may require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Occasional travel required including international travel. Must have valid passport or ability to obtain a passport.

Preferred:

  • Construction experience

  • Previous experience in QA/QC

  • Project management certification

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $65,000-96,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
