DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO: - Manage two Training Coordinators to ensure successful completion of assigned tasks. - Supervise the design and development of emergency field operations training programs and associated materials. - Coordinate with contractors to develop new training materials. - Oversee the coordination and delivery of training programs. - Work closely with the emergency field operations planners and external stakeholders to ensure training program is up to date and complies with current response plans. - Supervise the development and implementation of a training program evaluation framework. - Oversee the monitoring of employee performance and compliance to training programs. - Serve as lead facilitator for all trainings and spearhead facilitator recruitment, onboarding and engagement. - Assist in the development and implementation of a facilitator evaluation program. - Serve in an emergency role for a public health emergency, as needed. - Participate in Bureau-led emergency drills and exercises. Qualification Requirements 1. Master's degree from an accredited college in emergency management, public health, disaster management, emergency preparedness/administration, public administration, or related field and one (1) year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one or a combination of the following area(s): emergency preparedness planning/management, emergency medical services, fire or public safety, law enforcement, homeland security, public health, mental health, environmental/occupational health and safety or a related specialized area; or 2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two (2) years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one of the areas described in "1" above; or 3. A satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience. However all candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one of the areas described in "1" above.
