Job Summary

This individual contributor role will lead cross-functional marketing coordination for new Data Center launches and select vertically aligned industry events. The role creates localized marketing plans aligned to global priorities and local business needs, bringing structure, stakeholder alignment, and project management discipline to launch and event activity that has grown beyond the traditional field marketing scope.

Success in this role requires prior experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects and coordinating with senior-level stakeholders, including executive management, where launches or events include speaking engagements or high-visibility participation.

This individual will serve as the central coordinator for launch and event-related marketing activities, partnering closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, PR, External Communications, Social Media, Customer Advocacy, Managing Directors, agency partners, and other stakeholders to ensure every launch or event is planned, executed, measured, and communicated effectively.

Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Data Center Launch and Program Coordination
  • Leads marketing coordination for new Data Center launches and strategically aligned industry events, ensuring plans are developed, communicated, and executed successfully across stakeholder groups
  • Develops localized marketing plans that align global launch priorities with regional business objectives and customer opportunities
  • Identifies and coordinates the marketing activities required for each launch or event, including digital marketing, social media, public relations, analyst relations, executive engagement, customer participation, and related promotional activities
  • Partners with Customer Advocacy teams to identify and engage target customers for launch activities, executive engagements, speaking opportunities, and related events
  • Works closely with PR, External Communications, Social Media, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, Sales, and agency partners to ensure all launch and event deliverables are planned and executed on schedule
  • Leads recurring launch and event planning meetings, tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, ownership, and open action items to ensure readiness and successful execution
  • Provides project coordination and organizational leadership for launch-related marketing activities, helping stakeholders stay aligned and accountable to key deliverables and timelines


Event Planning and Execution
  • Manages launch-related and vertically aligned industry events from initial planning through post-event follow-up and reporting
  • Coordinates event workstreams including logistics, communications, customer engagement, executive participation, speaker coordination, content development, promotional activities, lead management, and post-event analysis
  • Partners with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver a consistent, high-quality experience that supports business objectives and revenue goals
  • Ensures all marketing, communications, and event deliverables are completed according to agreed timelines and quality standards
  • Supports onsite event execution as required and manages issue resolution to ensure successful delivery
  • Works with internal and external stakeholders to maximize event visibility and engagement through coordinated marketing and communications activities before, during, and after launch or event execution


Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management
  • Serves as the central marketing coordinator for Data Center launches and designated industry events, bringing together stakeholders across Field Marketing, Sales, Product, Customer Advocacy, Marketing Operations, PR, Social Media, External Communications, Vertical Marketing, Managing Directors, and agency partners
  • Builds strong relationships across teams to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, deliverables, customer engagement strategies, and launch readiness
  • Facilitates effective communication and collaboration among stakeholder groups, ensuring decisions, actions, and risks are clearly understood and addressed
  • Coordinates with executive management and senior stakeholders when launches or events include speaking slots, leadership participation, customer meetings, or other high-visibility moments requiring executive alignment and preparation
  • Uses influence, collaboration, and strong follow-through to drive progress and accountability across teams without direct authority


Launch Readiness and Measurement
  • Tracks launch and event readiness, escalating risks or gaps early and ensuring all required marketing deliverables are in place ahead of key milestones
  • Partners with Sales, Marketing Operations, and relevant stakeholders to support lead follow-up, evaluate campaign and event effectiveness, and identify opportunities for future optimization
  • Develops post-launch and post-event reporting to measure outcomes, capture lessons learned, and recommend improvements for future activities


Collaboration and Communications
  • Communicates clearly with stakeholders before, during, and after launches or events to ensure teams understand priorities, timelines, decisions, and open action items
  • Maintains visibility into project status, risks, milestones, and dependencies across all launch and event activities
  • Acts as a trusted partner to field marketing, helping enable successful launch and event execution while maintaining alignment to business objectives


Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in Field Marketing, Event Marketing, Integrated Marketing, or related marketing disciplines
  • Demonstrated experience planning, coordinating, and executing marketing programs, events, launches, or campaigns involving multiple stakeholder groups
  • Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, Communications, Public Relations, Social Media, Customer Advocacy, and external agencies
  • Strong project management, project coordination, and organizational skills, with experience managing timelines, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder communications across multiple initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive alignment and accountability without direct authority
  • Experience coordinating with senior leaders or executive management for event participation, speaking opportunities, briefing materials, approvals, and related communications
  • Experience leading planning meetings and coordinating activities to ensure successful execution of events, launches, or marketing programs
  • Experience working in a complex enterprise or global organization
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience


The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

United States - Redwood City Office GHQ : 142,000 - 212,000 USD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
