About the Role As our first Field Marketing Manager you'll own Runlayer's presence at every event, from major conferences to intimate dinners. You'll run the field motion end to end: choosing which conferences to sponsor, allocating budget, partnering with sales and BDRs to drive attendance, and closing the loop on post-event follow-up and pipeline. This is a build-from-scratch role, working directly with the VP of Marketing and the sales team.
Why You'll Thrive Here- Impact: Put Runlayer in front of the security and engineering leaders who decide how enterprises adopt AI.
- Excellence: Work closely with founders and a marketing team scaling from founder-led to a real function.
- Ownership: Own the entire field motion from scratch, from conference selection to sourced pipeline.
What You'll Do- Own the field calendar end to end: conference selection, budget allocation, sponsorship negotiation, and deciding what to skip.
- Run intimate events: exec dinners and CISO roundtables, from invite list to follow-up.
- Partner with AEs and BDRs: target account lists, pre-event outreach, on-site meeting orchestration, and post-event handoffs.
- Close the loop on pipeline: follow-up sequences, sourced and influenced attribution, and reporting field ROI to leadership.
- Execute on-site: booth presence, event collateral, and swag, representing Runlayer to security and engineering buyers.
- Build the field motion from scratch alongside the VP of Marketing and the sales team.
- This role will require up to 40% travel for events and customer engagements.
