Full Job Description
What you will do

At Volvo Group you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will ensure reliable field performance of autonomous trucks by detecting, investigating, and resolving customer quality issues in commercial operation. You will perform technical triage of field incidents across safety, quality, engineering, and partner teams, drive containment to minimize customer impact and fleet downtime, and contribute to cross-functional problem solving to develop and validate corrective actions. You will also support contingency technical solutions, help secure software and system compatibility between base vehicle platforms and ADS partners, and provide structured field feedback and lessons learned into engineering, quality, and next generation product development. In addition, you will support fleet upfits, field modifications, and vehicle status reporting, while capturing customer inputs to influence future product generations.

You will be part of a customer facing field quality and technical support set up, working closely with engineering, safety, quality, program management, and external partners to turn real world performance into safer, more robust products.

Essential
  • Experience investigating field quality issues for complex systems and driving containment and corrective actions
  • Strong technical triage skills and ability to coordinate across safety, quality, engineering, and partner interfaces
  • Experience working with structured problem-solving methods and clear documentation and traceability
  • Ability to translate real world operational data and incident trends into actionable engineering inputs
  • Customer mindset with the ability to balance uptime, safety, and long term product quality

Nice to have
  • Experience with autonomous vehicles, ADAS, or other safety critical systems in operation
  • Familiarity with software and system compatibility management across vehicle platforms and external partners
  • Experience supporting fleet upfits, field modifications, or service operations in a commercial context
  • Experience with statistical trend analysis from incident data, warranty, or market reports

For this position, the base pay is set at $96,000.00 - $118,500.00 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
