The Field Engineer, Multifamily Construction, assists the Superintendent in reviewing development or redevelopment activities and in performing day-to-day construction assignments. What you'll do - Independently manage core field engineering workflows, including RFIs, submittals, material tracking, basic change events, QAQC inspections, and closeout documentation with minimal supervision
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractor activity onsite, holding trades accountable for schedule, quality, and safety while maintaining a firm but fair approach
- Own quality control processes by performing inspections, managing deficiencies, and driving resolution through Procore and field follow-up
- Support project execution by managing phasing plans, turnover sequencing, and unit delivery with a strong focus on QAQC and unit readiness
- Track and drive progress on open items, ensuring timely follow-up, documentation, and closeout across all scopes of work
- Partner with the Superintendent to maintain schedule and budget by proactively identifying risks, managing change events, and ensuring accurate documentation
- Lead coordination of amenity spaces and high-detail scopes, ensuring design intent is executed with precision
- Utilize Procore to manage inspections, deficiency logs, documentation, and field coordination workflows efficiently
- Review drawings and specifications, interpret accessibility and building code requirements, and work through issues with consultants to resolution
- Leverage AI tools to improve construction workflows, including document review, meeting summaries, and change analysis
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams, consultants, and field partners to ensure alignment and project momentum
- Demonstrate ownership, urgency, and accountability across all responsibilities, with consistent follow-through on commitments

- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 1-3 years' experience in Construction, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 1+ years' experience in Residential Construction Project Management
- OSHA 30-hour Certification; issued in the past three years, and current First Aid & CPR training certificate
- Extensive computer knowledge (Windows), and working knowledge of construction and project management software
- Must be able to pass a drug screen after a conditional offer of employment is made.

$99,000 to $105,000, and a general description of other compensation and benefits that it, in good faith, believes it might pay and/or offer for this position.
