Full Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: Working independently from the supervisor, the incumbent must be proficient in multiple maintenance trades (i.e., electrical, mechanical/HVAC, structural, carpentry and/or plumbing assemblies) with high-level skills and knowledge to effectively complete repairs of facilities, machinery, mechanical equipment and other related subsystems. Work is performed in accordance with pertinent guides and regulations of the trade.
  1. Technical Lead and mentor over a section of maintenance trades specialists and general maintenance workers.
  2. Schedule work (preventative Maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), installs & projects) for Site Support shop.
  3. Prepare, review and update Local Work Cards and Lock Out Tag Out procedures for all systems maintained.
  4. Supports projects with limited scope or parts of more complex projects with detailed instructions on the intent and scope of the documents to be prepared
  5. Section Subject Matter Expert for their primary trade (Electrical. Mechanical or HVAC).
  6. Assists in preparation of reports, correspondence or technical studies.
  7. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.


REQUIREMENTS: An associate's degree in engineering or other technical discipline, or formal academic/vocational/military training and a minimum of 7 years of technical/professional experience in the specialty field are required for this position.

In addition, a Field Engineer II must possess the following qualifications:
  • Professional knowledge of applicable engineering concepts and principles and familiarity with related engineering fields
  • Practical knowledge of test methods and practices sufficient to perform routine to more complex engineering procedures and to prepare or make minor modifications of standard test procedures or test equipment work instructions
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Planning/organizational skills
  • Must qualify for and maintain a Security Clearance
  • Must possess a valid state issued driver's license
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

SALARY: The expected pay range for this position is $86,000 to $104,000 annually

The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. JT4 LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Each employee must read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to their job.

WORKING CONDITIONS: This position involves work typical of an office environment, outdoor work and shop or repair facility. The incumbent may be required to work under moderate noise conditions and under extreme weather conditions. The work requires the ability to stoop, stretch, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds or more.
