Field Application Scientist
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Application Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the medical or life sciences field, with a passion for providing technical support and training to our customers. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for growth and development within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and training to customers on the use of our products and services
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, providing feedback and suggestions for product improvement
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to ensure our products and services are meeting the needs of our customers
- Assist with the development of marketing materials and scientific content for our products
- Attend conferences and trade shows to promote our products and services
- Travel to customer sites for installations, training, and troubleshooting as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (medical or life sciences, biochemistry, molecular biology, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience in a technical support or training role, preferably in the medical or life sciences industry
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a non-technical audience
- Proven ability to build relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and techniques is highly desirable
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
