Full Job Description
The Role

We are looking for a Field Application Scientist (FAS) to join our growing US team. Reporting to the Director of the Global FAS team, you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI technology and clinical/scientific application. You will be the primary technical resource for our customers, ensuring their success from initial onboarding to project completion.

Location: Remote (US-based)
Employment Type: Full-time
Travel: Occasional regional and national travel for trade shows and client sites

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Onboarding & Success: Lead technical training and onboarding, enabling customers to master Aiforia's image analysis software and data interpretation.
  • AI Model Development: Maintain deep expertise in Aiforia's platform to assist users in annotating, training, and validating high-performance AI models.
  • Project Management: Coordinate technical aspects of client projects, providing proactive engagement and troubleshooting to ensure milestones are met.
  • Sales Support: Partner with the US Sales team to provide technical pre-sales support, including software demonstrations and technical scoping for quotes.
  • Voice of the Customer: Identify and communicate technical feedback to the internal product and science teams to drive continuous software improvement.


Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Biological, Medical, or Biomedical Science (PhD preferred).
  • Experience:
    • 4+ years of research experience involving pathology, microscopy, IHC, or molecular biology.
    • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a scientific or industry setting.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency with microscopy images (histopathology, fluorescence, etc.).
    • Familiarity with conventional image analysis tools; knowledge of deep neural networks is a significant plus.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional project management and prioritization skills. You must be able to balance multiple client projects simultaneously while maintaining high service standards.
  • Communication: Fluent in English with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
