Full Job Description
Under the general direction of the Director of the Resource Center for Family Focused Practice (RCFFP), the Fidelity Coach/Trainer provides implementation coaching, technical assistance, and training to county and provider agencies participating in the statewide High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) initiative under BH-CONNECT. This position focuses on building workforce capacity, supporting fidelity to the HFW model, and strengthening provider performance through individualized coaching, curriculum delivery, and ongoing consultation. The Fidelity Coach/Trainer collaborates closely with Fidelity Reviewers to translate fidelity data into actionable improvement plans and works as part of a coordinated statewide Center of Excellence team.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
  • Required to hold a valid California driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience/training.
  • Minimum of two years of experience providing services within a High Fidelity Wraparound program serving children, youth, and families.
  • Project management experience to independently oversee multiple, concurrent projects of a complex nature, to establish and adjust priorities, and to develop a course of action, monitor plans, ensure timely completion, review and evaluate results with meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in facilitating meetings, workshops or trainings. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a diverse constituency of child welfare professionals and allied professions and internal clients.
  • Experience working independently, organizing own work, establishing priorities, developing a course of action, monitoring the plan, reviewing and evaluating results.
  • Experience using MS Office Suite for Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), databases and business tracking systems and proficiency in virtual collaboration platforms (E.g., Zoom, Teams).
  • In-depth knowledge of child welfare and systems of care with demonstrated experience providing coaching, training, or technical assistance to child and family- serving professions.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in social work, psychology, or a related behavioral science field.
  • Experience implementing or training others in High Fidelity Wraparound or similar models.
  • Experience developing curriculum or instructional materials for adult learners.
  • Knowledge of transfer-of-learning and coaching best practices.
  • Experience supporting county or provider system change initiatives.
  • Skill to assess client training and professional development needs.
  • Ability to analyze policy and legislation proposed and implemented at federal, state and county levels of government; assess implications for child welfare.
  • Knowledge of transfer of learning theories and practices.
