Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide treatment and support at Fraser South RAAC and Creekside Withdrawal Management Services.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to enhance addiction care.
  • Participate in the Maternity coverage program from December 2026 to August 2027.
  • Ensure low-barrier access to evidence-based addiction services.
  • Engage in community outreach and education for addiction services.

Job Summary

Fraser Health Authority (FHA) and the Department of Addiction Medicine and Substance Use Services has opportunities for physicians to join our team. Several opportunities throughout the region are available as a result of Fraser Health's rapidly expanding addiction services. We are a close knit, collaborative and friendly group of providers who genuinely enjoy the work that we do. There are several opportunities to join our team with varying time commitments including full time, part time and occasional.

Current Opportunities: Fraser South Rapid Access to Addiction Care Clinic (RAAC)/ Creekside Withdrawal Management Services (CWMS)
  • Alternating Mondays, Practice shared between Fraser South RAAC and Creekside Withdrawal Management Services for a Maternity coverage from December 1st 2026 - August 1st 2027.

Qualifications:
  • Active license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and passion for providing low-barrier and equitable access to evidence-based and evidence-informed addiction medicine services.
  • Previous experience providing addiction medicine services is an asset.
  • ISAM or ABAM certification or CCFP(AM) are beneficial but not a requirement.
