Qualifications

• Certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
• Current, unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state or Puerto Rico.
• Minimum of 3 years experience treating adult and pediatric patients.
• Current Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Possession of a DEA license.
• Commitment to ongoing education and certification renewal.
• U.S. citizenship with primary residence in the U.S. or its territories.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and diagnose health conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
• Educate patients, families, and the community on health and wellness.
• Coordinate referrals to specialty care and manage follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications in compliance with IHS formulary guidelines.
