About the Role:The purpose of the Clinical Nurse Practitioner is to provide oversight for infusions being administered in our ambulatory infusion centers.
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Saturdays as needed.
Service Areas: Marietta, GA and may float to other clinics as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:Experience/Education:
- Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program and Active Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in the state(s) of practice.
- Experience in family physician setting; possesses strong knowledge of chronic disease states as well as current and emerging therapies.
- BLS or obtain upon hire.
- Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.
- Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.
Essential Functions:- Assist with managing adverse drug reactions (ADRs).
- Assist with policy, procedure, and protocol development as needed.
- Able to work as a team member with all members of PIS. Working along side with nurses and other NPs/MDs.
- Able to perform nursing functions as needed.
- Oversee the infusions being administered in the AIC.
- Travel to other AICs when needed for staffing coverage.
- Maintains strong knowledge of all existing and developing infusion therapies.
About the Benefits:The anticipated pay range for this position is $55-60/hour. Final compensation is based on factors including experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
