Job Summary: Join our dedicated team as a Family Medicine Physician committed to delivering patient-centered primary care in a welcoming and professional environment. This role offers a balanced schedule with no weekend shifts, allowing you to provide comprehensive care to adult and pediatric (2+) patients in our employer-sponsored health and wellness center. You will perform physical exams, diagnose and treat common health conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Clinic Address: 501 East Main Street, Artesia, NM 88210 Position Hours: Monday, Wednesday 7:30a-3:30p, Tuesday, Thursday 9:30a-6:30p
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive primary care services including preventive care, acute illness management, and chronic disease treatment.
Perform physical examinations, health-risk assessments, and review medical histories.
Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic health conditions.
Develop personalized treatment plans in partnership with patients to promote wellness.
Educate patients on preventive measures, healthy lifestyles, and disease management.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results accurately.
Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare resources as needed.
Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate effectively with clinical staff such as Medical Assistants, Patient Advocates, and Service Directors to deliver coordinated care.
Participate in setting clinic goals and initiatives aligned with our mission of putting patients first.

Qualifications:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of an approved Family Medicine residency program.
Minimum of one year of post-residency clinical experience.
Current unrestricted medical license in or ability to obtain one.
Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine.
Strong clinical judgment with a focus on evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with diverse patient populations.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Current BLS or ACLS certification.
