Our firm is growing, and we are looking for a sharp family attorney. We cap our caseload at 30 clients, so you'll have time to communicate with and serve your clients at a very high level. You'll assist individuals in a variety of situations, such as attending court hearings and trials for divorce, alimony/spousal support, and child custody. The prime candidate will have experience with a range of family law issues like child custody, asset and debt division, alimony, and domestic violence, and be able to maintain composure, negotiate, and argue at a top level, even in emotional and high-stress situations. Responsibilities
• Represent clients in family law cases, ensuring their rights and interests are protected throughout the legal process.
• Take care of your paralegal and help your team improve.
• Communicate promptly and systematically with clients to understand their needs and provide clear, actionable updates and advice.
• Prepare and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, and agreements, with precision and attention to detail.
• Attend court hearings and trials, advocating passionately for clients in matters of divorce, child custody, and spousal support.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing attorneys, striving for outcomes that align with clients' best interests.
• Maintain a limited caseload, allowing for excellent personalized client service.
• Stay updated on family law developments to provide informed and current legal counsel to clients in Salt Lake City, UT.
Qualifications
• Experience in family law, particularly in divorce, child custody, and spousal support cases.
• Ability to manage a caseload of up to 30 clients, ensuring excellent personalized service.
• Proven track record of effective negotiation and advocacy in court settings.
• Strong communication skills to provide clear, actionable updates and advice to clients.
• Attention to detail in preparing and filing legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
