Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas (or eligible for admission).
• Proven trial ambition and eagerness to learn in a courtroom setting.

• Family law experience is a plus; however, courtroom instinct is prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own docket of divorce and custody cases.
• Conduct temporary orders hearings and mediations.
• Take and defend depositions and handle discovery motions.
• Draft and argue pleadings that withstand scrutiny by opposing counsel.
• Communicate directly with clients to manage expectations and provide support.
• Assist in complex trials, transitioning from second-chair to first-chair as readiness increases.
