RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: No relocation assistance available CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR START: Yes CLEARANCE TYPE: Secret TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time Description Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Mission Assurance Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in Clearfield, Utah. Based on the qualifications below, this role may be filled as a Quality Analyst or a Principal Quality Analyst. Responsibilities include the following: - Creating, completing, and reviewing First Article Inspections, includes presentations to the customer - Evaluating the model and parts list to generate FAI using DISCUS software - Coordinating and facilitating internal audits including special process audits, FOE/FOD audits, and other internal audits as directed by the management team - Identify major findings, minor findings, opportunities for improvement and observations, and report information to the process owner - Support internal audits, process observations, and area assessments - Lead data collection and analysis - Supports the Program, Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams with data analytics for improvement processes - Authoring documentation to instruct operations on the successful execution of quality requirements - Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships across functions, programs, customers, program management, and other support organizations - Work with the Engineering team to ensure that part requirements are correctly described and documented in the production work plans - Participate with corrective action or improvement teams and promote the use of data to assist in the improvement effort - Must be able to work with minimal supervision and maintain pace of work Qualifications Quality Analyst Basic Qualifications: - Active DOD Secret Security Clearance, ability to obtain special program access - Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience; at least one year of experience generating, reviewing FAIs or internal auditing. Preferred Qualifications: - Active DOD Secret Security Clearance was last investigated within 2 years, and special program access. - Background in Composites - Experience with M.S. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, DISCUS Principal Quality Analyst Basic Qualifications: - Active DOD Secret Security Clearance, ability to obtain special program access - Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience and 3 years of experience generating, reviewing FAIs or internal auditing and special program access. - Experience with M.S. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, DISCUS Preferred Qualifications: - Prior manufacturing experience - Ability to read and interpret GD&T drawings - Knowledge of Inspection Plans and First Article Inspections - Knowledge of continuous improvement principles - Background in Composites Work schedule: Openings on B shift Must be willing to work any shift Work schedules can vary: Shift B Monday – Thursday 10 hr. shift 4:00 pm – 2:30 am Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,100.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
