Full Job Description
Lipscomb University is looking for a motivated and eager candidate to join the faculty to help advance the education and research mission within the College of Pharmacy. This position will give you the opportunity to contribute your scientific and technical knowledge to develop curricular content to support the training of students. Candidates are expected to contribute to the education and training of students in the Masters of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MS) graduate program and the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) professional program in the College of Pharmacy at Lipscomb University.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop curricular content to support education and training of students within the areas of medicinal chemistry, pharmacometrics, pharmaceutical sciences and/or pharmacokinetics.
  • Train and mentor research students and fellows.
  • Mentor other faculty as well as interact, guide and collaborate with other scientists within academia and the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Enhance the reputation and scholarship metrics of the college and the research center through grant submissions and funding, abstracts and posters, presentations, and publications.
  • Represent and increase program visibility externally through active leadership in key scientific organizations, industry trade groups, or consortia.

Basic Qualifications:
  • PhD, PharmD, and/or MD in relevant scientific field such as pharmacokinetics, pharmacometrics, clinical pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, bioengineering, biostatistics.
