Manage all facets of operations applying world-class manufacturing techniques in the pursuit of continuous improvement for process, quality, service, products, and environment. Plan, direct, and coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications.
What You Will Do at Graco:- Proactively identify and implement continuous quality and cost improvements as it relates to operations
- Set and communicate expectations for employees; monitor performance and give recognition when appropriate. Take corrective action when necessary.
- Provide a clean, safe, organized working environment within the company that is conducive to efficient and productive operations.
- Develop systems to plan and manage production, capacity, inventories, and purchases.
- Develop, implement, and supports systems to achieve cost reductions, quality improvements, productively increases, inventory reductions, and service improvements; Set-up Reductions, Assemble to Order, Build to Order, etc.
- Research, justify, procure, and implement new technology to maximize company profitability.
- Establish and implement training requirements and develop cross-trained multi-functional employees.
- Work with suppliers to deliver components that meet quality and delivery standards.
- Understand and implement Graco QMS
- Utilize Quality Management techniques for problem-solving, corrective action, and process decisions.
- Manage the development and implementation of preproduction projects
- Identify process and component changes to improve value and performance projects
- Manage Staff and resources to achieve company objectives
- Establish and implement training requirements and develop cross-functional multi-functional employees.
- Must spend a minimum of 15% of the time on the factory floor
- Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures

What You Will Bring to Graco:- B.A. in Business, B.S. in Engineering, or equivalent combination of bachelor's degree and 6 to 8 years of manufacturing experience.
- 8+ plus years of manufacturing experience to include methods, process improvement, and capital equipment purchases. 2-5 years Supervisory Experience, with five-plus years supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge and Experience with Manufacturing Information Systems to include forecasting, MRP, SPC, labor, and costing
- Demonstrated ability to recognize and successfully implement corporate/manufacturing initiatives
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Good Coaching, Facilitating and Counseling Capabilities
- Strong Leadership Qualities
Accelerators:- MBA/ Engineering Degree
- Machinist Experience
- Past Budgeting/Accounting Experience, preferably ownership of own budget
- Purchasing experience, contact with outside vendors
- Understanding of SPC concepts
- Experience supervising manufacturing employees
The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
