What You'll DoThe Facility President for Huntersville Medical Center is responsible for the overall strategic, operational, financial, and clinical performance of the hospital. This executive provides visionary leadership while fostering a culture centered on quality, safety, innovation, accountability, and remarkable patient and team member experiences.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute the facility's strategic vision, aligning operational priorities with Novant Health's mission and long-term growth strategy.
- Lead hospital operations to achieve excellence in quality, patient safety, financial performance, workforce engagement, and operational efficiency.
- Build collaborative relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical leaders, and system executives to advance patient care and service line growth.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Champion high reliability and regulatory compliance while partnering with system quality, legal, regulatory, and operational leaders.
- Optimize financial and human resources to ensure long-term sustainability and operational excellence.
- Serve as the public face of Huntersville Medical Center, strengthening relationships with community organizations, business leaders, and local stakeholders.
- Inspire, develop, and mentor high-performing leadership teams while promoting engagement and professional growth.
- Drive strategic initiatives that improve patient experience, access to care, physician alignment, and market growth.
- Lead with integrity, courage, transparency, and a steadfast commitment to Novant Health's values.
What We're Looking For- Education: 4 Year / bachelor's degree - Healthcare / Business Administration or Related field, required. Graduate Degree - Healthcare / Business Administration or Related field, required.
- Experience: 2+ years hospital president experience and working knowledge of all aspects of a large, integrated health system, required. Ideal candidate will have 6-8 years experience in acute care operations, preferred.
- Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; possess knowledge of current leadership, management, and business concepts, and the ability to participate in developing and implementing organizational strategies to address opportunities to improve organizational performance.; possess the educational and experiential requirements of leadership; possess personal / professional / educational attributes as defined by federal, state, local laws and regulations.
