RequirementsWhat will you do?As a Facility Assessment Consultant at Entuitive, your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Collect field data and prepare Depreciation Reports, Capital Planning Reports, 2-5-10 Year Warranty Reviews, Building Condition Assessments, Due Diligence, and Pre-purchase Reviews.
- Prepare quantity takeoffs and budget estimates for reporting purposes.
- Develop business development skills to continue existing client relationships and build new ones.
- Work collaboratively with Property Managers, building owners, municipal government representatives, nonprofit organizations, and other consulting firms, tailoring our deliverables to meet their unique requirements and objectives.
- Implementation and adherence of Entuitive's quality assurance programs to ensure that services meet Entuitive's standards and our client's expectations.
- Other responsibilities as required.
What do you need to succeed?- Degree or diploma from a minimum 2-year engineering or architectural program at an accredited university or college
- 3 to 8 years of experience preferred; candidates with direct experience in Engineering consulting related to new and/or existing buildings
- Understanding construction methods, materials, and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret building plans, including architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
- Strong time management and organizational skills; attention to detail; always willing to learn.
- Excellent project coordination skills and ability to plan and manage multiple deliverables.
- Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam, PowerPoint, etc.
- Excellent English language communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to manage complex situations with multiple stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently with minimal supervision when needed but also enjoys collaboration and working as a team.
- Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Must be comfortable working at heights, including accessing roofs, ladders, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and scaffolding, where required.
- Willingness to travel for short-term out-of-town work.
- P.Eng., Architect AIBC, AScT, AACI, CRP, or PQS designation registered in BC would be considered an asset but not required.
