JOB TITLE: Facility Administrator

LOCATION: Grand Prairie, Texas

REPORTING: Market CEO

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Administrator to lead the development and ongoing operations of a new, orthopedic-focused Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Grand Prairie, Texas

This is a de novo leadership opportunity for a clinically grounded operator to work along side the corporate denovo team to build an ASC from the ground up-including strategy, operational execution, physician engagement, and financial performance. The ideal candidate is a licensed Registered Nurse in Texas with orthopedic experience, bringing both clinical credibility and strong business acumen.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational & Business Leadership

  • Provide full operational oversight of the ASC, including clinical, financial, and administrative functions
  • Lead start-up execution: licensure, accreditation, vendor selection, equipment procurement, and go-live readiness
  • Develop and manage the center's operating budget, P&L performance, and cost controls
  • Implement processes to optimize surgical case volume, block utilization, and operational efficiency


Clinical & Patient Care Oversight

  • Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in alignment with orthopedic best practices
  • Partner with clinical leadership to establish workflows across pre-op, OR, and PACU
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards (CMS, state of Texas, and AAAHC)


Physician Partnership & Growth

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with orthopedic surgeons and stakeholders
  • Drive physician satisfaction, engagement, and case growth


Team Leadership & Culture

  • Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing, patient-centered team
  • Establish a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence
  • Oversee staffing models, productivity expectations, and performance management


Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure ongoing regulatory compliance, survey readiness, and risk management
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor key performance indicators
  • Oversee infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical outcomes programs


Qualifications

Required

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (in good standing)
  • Bachelor's degree (BSN or healthcare-related) or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in an ASC or surgical services environment
  • Demonstrated experience in orthopedic procedures and workflows
  • Proven ability to manage operations, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong understanding of ASC regulatory, accreditation, and compliance requirements


Preferred

  • Prior ASC Administrator experience
  • Experience leading a de novo, startup, or turnaround environment
  • Experience with physician partnerships/joint ventures
