Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is looking for an experienced leader to become the Security Forces Manager at Air Force Plant 4 in Fort Worth, home of the F-35. As part of the of Facility Protection team, this individual will direct a team of security professionals at a high-value facility responsible for production of the most widely deployed fifth-generation fighter in the world.

The Security Forces Manager will report to the Fort Worth Security & Emergency Services (SES) Senior Manager of Facility Protection at Lockheed Martin's largest Aeronautics production location - situated on over 750 acres with a million square foot facility footprint, including active production and flight lines. This position requires coordinating proprietary employee selection, training, work assignments, performance assessments, compensation, and administering recognition/disciplinary actions. Position will also oversee the armed contract security officers' effectiveness in carrying out their statement of work while adhering to co-employment policies and effectively maintaining a cohesive partnership between proprietary and contract staff.

Additional responsibilities include creating and maintaining policies impacting daily operations, establishing procedures for large events hosted at the site, and ensuring team preparedness for emergency response events on the site, which has a capacity of well over 20,000 employees, contractors, and visitors. This individual will serve as the Security Forces representative across Aeronautics, all other Lockheed Martin business areas, as well as external law enforcement and the government customer.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 years of corporate, government, or military security experience
  • Experience in running security programs and/or security forces team
  • Ability to acquire and maintain Level III Private Security License through state of Texas
  • Meet Lockheed Martin requirements to carry a weapon to include a physical agility test and MMPI
  • U.S. Citizen, with the ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance

  • Interface with Senior Leadership in support of ongoing operations and new business opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with others to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently in time-sensitive and high stress environments
  • Be highly organized, have advanced oral and written communication skills, as well an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college


Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $109700.00 - $203700.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
