Job Description:

Role Definition:

Provide maintenance, installation, and consulting support for building and infrastructure requirements of a manufacturing facility or site. This position will lead projects related to sand transportation, industrial gases, industrial ventilation, scrubbers, and resins.

Responsibilities:
• Identify work-related hazards and performing necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment and site.
• Work closely with all departments to ensure requirements are clearly defined when proposing future projects along with how to make current processes more efficient.
• Must have the ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment to propose the best path forward.
• Must have the ability to communicate actions and activities that maximize organizational performance.
• Communicating with suppliers' technical support to address equipment or infrastructure disruptions.
• Performing routine-to-complex engineering work potentially on multiple or large facilities.
• Manages planning, execution and control of small to medium scope facilities projects. Provides products and services to clients requirements.

Degree Requirement:

Degree or equivalent experience desired

Effective Communications: Working knowledge and understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Problem Solving: Working knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Project Management: Working knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

Technical Troubleshooting: Working knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application, or operation.

Top Candidates Will Have:
  • Previous experience in industrial application and environments
  • Foundry Experience is plus but not required
  • Degree preference: Technical degree

Summary Pay Range:

$112,710.00 - $169,060.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
