Full Job Description
Utilize project planning/management skills to drive timelines and resources for key projects. Participate in evaluation of cost reduction suggestions as area champion. Work with Procurement to execute the purchase of needed materials or services. Assist the O and M teams with support for operation, spares, and PM material acquisition as requested. Provide input to the budget as requested, accounting for any major maintenance work planned for completion in the upcoming periods as well as information supporting monthly variance items. Perform project punch list walkthroughs with construction leads. Host Contractors performing work in area of responsibility as needed, including schedule, access, security, and materials. Assist and participate in new construction project activities as subject/system expert. Participate in the Functional Acceptance Test and Operational Acceptance Test activities for new and upgraded systems. Utilize metrics to make informed decisions and evaluate past performance. Seek out opportunities to improve system performance and reliability. Participate and lead operational and cost efficiency projects/activities. Evaluate and approve Site Incident Prevention Program (SIPP) submissions. Provide support to customer areas. Work with supervisors to create area specific Technical Training as well as personally assisting with the training. Work with engineering and shift teams to review, validate, and/or develop procedures within area of responsibility. Participate in Continuous Improvement and Reliability Initiatives. Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program as a core team member/leader. Analyze equipment performance to evaluate efficiencies. Respond to and track METS involving equipment/process failures within area of responsibility. Respond to and track Out of Conformance issues/events within area of responsibility. Act as the liaison between construction and the operations team, manufacturing and the operations team, and engineering and the operations team. Perform safety analysis (Job Hazard Analysis). Reduce incidents of personal injury, safety hazards, or environmental releases.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires:
