About the RoleWe are looking for a Facility Engineer to join our Specialty Team, where you will play a key role in improving the performance, reliability, and sustainability of building systems across multiple manufacturing plants. In this role, you will balance hands-on engineering with project leadership-partnering closely with operations, maintenance, and technical teams to identify and solve complex system challenges. Your work will directly impact plant reliability, energy efficiency, and long-term asset strategy.
This position will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland.
Pay and Benefits: - $120,000 - $145,000 per year

Responsibilities- Optimize facility systems, including HVAC, compressed air, boilers, and building automation systems
- Review system operation and implement improvements to enhance performance and reliability
- Lead root cause investigations to eliminate recurring issues and reduce operational disruptions
- Partner with operations, maintenance, and technical teams to develop sustainable solutions
- Lead and support facility projects while managing scope, schedule, cost, and quality expectations
- Support commissioning activities and system upgrades that improve long-term performance
- Drive asset lifecycle management through equipment improvements, capital planning, and investment forecasting
- Maintain accurate asset documentation and CMMS records to improve system visibility and reliability
- Collaborate with internal experts, skilled trades, engineering teams, and external vendors to standardize systems and best practices
- Advance energy, carbon reduction, and sustainability initiatives while improving system efficiency and operational excellence
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field
- A minimum of 5 years experience in an environment meeting the responsibilities listed above
- Experience working with facility systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience interpreting and applying engineering standards and codes
- Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS/BMS)
- Ability to work in a hands-on environment, including working at heights and in plant conditions
- Willingness to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation
- Ability to less than 5%
Desired Qualifications- Experience working in a regulated or quality-driven environment
- Familiarity with cleanroom operations
- Experience in facilities management or system optimization
