We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Facilities Manager for AI server repair.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage all facility maintenance, custodial, and grounds personnel supporting AI server repair, testing, warehouse, engineering, and office operations, including environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity and cleanliness
- Ensure reliable operation and preventative maintenance of all critical facility infrastructure, including HVAC systems, electrical distribution, UPS systems, backup generators, compressed air, fire protection, access control, and building management systems.
- Manage relationships and performance of all facility service providers, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, security, life safety, janitorial, waste management, and specialized equipment contractors.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute facility improvement projects, equipment installations, production line expansions, and infrastructure upgrades while minimizing operational disruption.
- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment availability and facility reliability.
- Support installation, maintenance, and repair of production support equipment, including material handling equipment, pallet jacks, battery charging stations, racking systems, and facility assets.
- Monitor facility performance metrics, maintenance work orders, contractor performance, and capital improvement projects; provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Manage departmental budgets, maintenance inventories, spare parts, and facility-related procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, fire code, environmental regulations, and company safety policies.
- Conduct interviews, hire, train, coach, and develop maintenance personnel while establishing performance expectations and accountability.
- Develop emergency response, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans for facility infrastructure.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, energy efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Education, Training and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, or a related field required;
- Minimum of five (10) years of progressive facilities management experience in a manufacturing, electronics repair, data center, or high-technology environment, including supervisory responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience managing critical building infrastructure, preventive maintenance programs, and third-party service providers.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, mechanical systems, plumbing, fire protection, access control, and building automation systems.
- Experience supporting ESD-controlled environments and facilities used for electronics manufacturing or repair is preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance, and facility safety best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced operational environment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to operate and train employees on material handling equipment in accordance with company policies.
- Ability to respond to facility emergencies outside normal business hours when required.
