Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000

**This position may be domiciled within the East, West, Central/South, or Midwest regions of the United States**

YOUR ROLE

The Facilities Management Specialist provides area-level leadership and governance for facilities service delivery across the assigned portfolio, ensuring consistent, compliant, and cost-effective outcomes. The role sets standards and priorities, oversees supplier and IFM performance, and leads the governance cadence that drives issue resolution and continuous improvement. As the primary escalation point and partner to site and Real Estate leadership, the role aligns resources to business needs and manages operational risk across multiple locations.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Lead area-level planning and oversight of preventive and corrective maintenance programs, coordinating priorities and schedules with the IFM partner to ensure reliable performance of building systems and equipment


  • Provide day-to-day governance and performance oversight of the Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) partner for the Area, ensuring delivery to contracted scope, service levels and KPI's. Review performance trends, lead regular service reviews, validate corrective actions, and escalate risks/issues to internal stakeholders as required.


  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities within the Area to identify and address maintenance issues, safety hazards, and non-compliance. Support site adherence to applicable Facilities Management requirements and standards, and coordinate with CSR, H&S, Security, and Quality teams to align on environmental, H&S, security, wellbeing, and quality initiatives impacting the Area.


  • Establish and govern area-level facilities management standards and ways of working, ensuring consistent site execution and compliance with applicable regulations, internal controls, and global CEVA standards


  • Coordinate with other departments to support facility-related needs and initiatives. Provide escalation leadership for reactive requests within the Area, partnering with the IFM provider to drive timely resolution, post-incident follow-up, and root cause / corrective action tracking. Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.


  • Own area budget governance, forecasting, and spend controls for facilities operations (OPEX/CAPEX), ensuring spend aligns to service outcomes, business priorities, and cost optimization opportunities


  • Govern data quality and reporting within asset registers, documentation, and the internal IWMS (Integrated Workplace Management System), ensuring accurate portfolio records to support compliance, lifecycle planning, audits, and decision-making


  • Plan and oversee facility improvement projects, including renovations, upgrades, expansions, relocations, and decommissions


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education & Experience

  • 5+ years relevant facilities/building operations experience (hands-on, coordination, or oversight). Trade/technical training or equivalent practical experience acceptable in lieu of a college degree


  • Demonstrated experience coordinating or overseeing facilities/building operations across multiple sites, including exposure to warehouse/industrial environments. Includes preventive/corrective maintenance planning, vendor/service provider coordination, and escalation management. Experience monitoring service performance (e.g., SLAs/KPIs) and driving follow-up actions to resolution


  • Working knowledge of core building systems (HVAC, electrical, fire/life safety, building envelope) and maintenance practices. Experience overseeing service delivery through vendors/IFM (SLA/KPI review, service reviews, escalation, and corrective actions). Basic budget/spend governance skills (forecasting, invoice validation, cost drivers). Proficiency with CMMS/IWMS or similar work order/asset systems and reportin


  • Strong stakeholder management and customer service mindset; able to influence without authority across site


Desirable

  • Facilities Management qualification/certification (e.g., FMP/CFM) or relevant trade certification. Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related discipline (engineering, construction management, facilities, business) is a plus


  • Progressive experience with increasing portfolio scope and accountability (e.g., multi-site/area responsibility), leading governance cadences with suppliers/IFM (service reviews, KPI reporting, corrective actions), and contributing to budget
  • planning/forecasting or spend controls. Experience supporting facilities improvement projects (small CAPEX, renovations, commissioning/handover) is a plus


  • Experience in warehouse/industrial environments and material handling interfaces. Project coordination experience (small CAPEX, renovations, commissioning, handover). Familiarity with contract administration and supplier performance management. Technical depth in construction/MEP systems and/or IT/low-voltage integrations is a plus
