Position Summary The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading and managing all facility maintenance operations to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of manufacturing equipment, building systems, and plant infrastructure. This role oversees preventative maintenance programs, facility improvement initiatives, contractor management, equipment uptime, and environmental and safety compliance within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
The Facilities Maintenance Manager partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS, and Leadership teams to support production objectives, minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. This position plays a critical leadership role in maintaining operational excellence and ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Lead and manage all facility maintenance operations, including preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, utilities, infrastructure, and facility-related projects.
- Ensure manufacturing equipment, cranes, compressors, HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and facility infrastructure are maintained in safe and reliable working condition.
- Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
- Partner with Operations leadership to minimize downtime and support production throughput objectives.
- Manage facility repairs, equipment installations, and capital improvement projects from planning through execution.
- Oversee relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality work, cost control, and compliance with company standards.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, aerospace, and company safety requirements.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures and recurring maintenance issues.
- Manage departmental budgets, maintenance costs, spare parts inventory, and resource allocation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, safety, efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Ensure maintenance records, inspections, work orders, and compliance documentation are completed accurately and timely.
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements related to facility and equipment compliance.
- Provide leadership, coaching, training, and accountability to maintenance personnel and support staff.
- Promote and maintain a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
- Coordinate emergency response efforts related to facility or equipment issues as necessary.
- Stay informed on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and maintenance strategies that support operational improvement.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, Business Management, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment required.
- Aerospace, metal manufacturing, machining, forging, or industrial manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience managing maintenance teams and contractors.
- Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance systems, facility operations, and manufacturing equipment maintenance.
- Experience managing budgets, capital projects, and maintenance planning activities preferred.

- Results-oriented with strong attention to detail and urgency.
Work Environment This position operates primarily within a manufacturing and industrial facility environment. The role may require exposure to loud noise, moving mechanical equipment, varying temperatures, chemicals, and industrial machinery. Proper PPE and adherence to all safety requirements are mandatory
For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $116,600.00 to $174,800.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
