  • Level III: $113.40/hr

5/2 | Monday-Friday | 40 hours/week
Onsite / Field Role (approximately 50% office / 50% field)

Scope / Overview
The Facilities Engineer / Specialist II or III will provide engineering support for water infrastructure and production facility operations across the Midland and Delaware Basins. This position serves as an area engineer supporting facility reliability, project execution, troubleshooting, commissioning activities, and capital project implementation.
The role requires significant field engagement and close interaction with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and Engineering teams. Candidates should possess strong technical knowledge of water handling systems, pumps, pipelines, facility operations, and project execution.

Level II Responsibilities
  • Serve as Area Engineer for assigned operating area
  • Support facility operations alongside Facilities Engineers, Site Contacts, and Lead Engineers
  • Conduct monthly facilities surveillance and KPI reviews
  • Provide engineering support for repairs, modifications, and alterations to:
    • Piping systems
    • Pressure vessels
    • Static equipment
    • Rotating equipment
    • Storage tanks
  • Support plant shutdown planning and execution
  • Troubleshoot facility and operational issues
  • Support commissioning and startup activities


Level III Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in:
    • Risk Assessments
    • HAZOP Reviews
    • Hazard Hunts
    • Critical Operating Parameter Reviews
  • Lead process safety and downtime investigations
  • Develop project scopes and identify operational improvement opportunities
  • Conduct risk assessments for new and existing facilities
  • Lead facility performance testing and operational trials
  • Develop operating guidelines and procedures
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers and specialists
  • Support closure of risk mitigation action items


Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in:
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Petroleum Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
Equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience
  • 8+ years of relevant facilities engineering experience
