About the Role:Join CBRE as a Facilities Consultant supporting a leading healthcare system at a major hospital campus in Richmond, VA. This onsite role will support the day-to-day operations of a healthcare facility currently spanning 744,000 square feet and undergoing expansion to approximately 950,000 square feet upon completion.
The Facilities Consultant will oversee small facility projects, coordinate critical facility services, and help ensure a safe, efficient, and high-performing healthcare environment. This position is ideal for a facilities professional who thrives in a complex operational setting and enjoys balancing project execution with ongoing facility management responsibilities.
What You'll Do:- Manage and coordinate small facility projects from planning through completion within an active hospital environment.
- Support the maintenance, repair, and operational programs for a large and growing healthcare campus.
- Oversee vendor relationships and contracted services, including maintenance, landscaping, paving, and other facility support functions.
- Review service agreements, assist with contract administration, and ensure performance expectations are met.
- Coordinate procurement of facility operating supplies and services required for day-to-day operations.
- Serve as a key point of contact for facility-related issues, including emergency situations that may occur during or outside normal business hours.
- Maintain accurate facility records and ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify operational improvements and implement effective facility solutions.
What You'll Need:- Bachelor's degree preferred with 5+ years of facilities, property, project management, healthcare facilities, or related experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience managing facility projects, vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Strong knowledge of building operations, maintenance programs, and facility services.
- Ability to analyze multiple sources of information and make sound business decisions.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, including budgeting, reporting, and basic facility-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Consultant position is $80,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Facilities Consultant position is $90,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
