Position Title:Facilities Associate Lead
Job Description:Facilities Associate Lead Location: This role requires associates to work from the location in Chicago full-time, enabling consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. The
Facilities Associate Lead is responsible for leading the maintenance and operating systems for assigned properties, ensuring timely completion of preventive maintenance, emergency repairs and construction projects.
How You Will Make an Impact:- Oversees daily staff activities and ensures all work orders are completed; ensures preventive and predictive maintenance programs for buildings, including tenant services are completed for assigned buildings.
- Plans renovation and repair projects for buildings and oversees electrical, mechanical, and general construction activities for space projects, as well as minor and major renovations and modifications.
- Administers energy management systems.
- Provides recommendations for new systems and technologies.
- Associates in this role are expected to have knowledge and understanding of complex electrical and mechanical systems, complex building operating technologies, building and environmental law, codes and regulations.
- May need to assist in an emergency at any time.
- May work on days when the offices are closed in order to handle various tasks.
- Serves as a customer-facing representative for Facilities, providing exceptional service to associates, visitors, vendors, and business partners by responding to facility requests, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive workplace experience.
- Coordinates and supports conference room and meeting space setups, including furniture arrangements, room configurations, audiovisual readiness, and post-event resets to ensure spaces are prepared for meetings, events, and business functions.
Minimum Requirements:- Requires a H.S. degree or equivalent, state certificate of competency, journeyman's level in an applicable trade required and a minimum of 5 years of electrical and/or mechanical experience with 2 years of leadership experience.
- Requires a valid driver's license.
- Requires the ability to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships and effectively communicate with associates, vendors, and business leaders.
- Experience coordinating conference room, meeting, and event space setups, including room configurations and basic audiovisual support.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple assignments, respond to changing business needs, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, coordinating service providers, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams) and other facility management software.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality facility services.
For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location, the salary* range for this specific position is $70,048 to $105,072.00
