Why this role matters
The Facilities Director is responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of the Chamber's owned commercial office building while overseeing capital improvements, vendor partnerships, tenant relationships and long-term facilities planning.
You'll work closely with leaders across the organization to ensure our facilities remain safe, welcoming and prepared to support the people and programs that drive the Chamber's mission.
What you'll own
In this role, you'll:
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the Chamber's commercial office building.
- Oversee capital improvement projects from planning through completion.
- Manage relationships with vendors, contractors and building tenants.
- Lead facilities budgeting, preventative maintenance and long-term planning.
- Ensure building safety, compliance and business continuity.
- Coach and develop the Facilities team while fostering a culture of accountability and service.
- Continuously improve systems, documentation and operational processes.
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone who brings:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in facilities management, commercial property operations, construction management or a related field.
- Experience leading teams and developing strong working relationships.
- Knowledge of commercial building operations, budgeting, vendor management and capital projects.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- A customer-first mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Experience managing a multi-tenant commercial property is strongly preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range:
$110,000-$125,000 annually
