Facets Product & Benefits Senior Analyst (Remote - US)Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the roleAs a Facets Product & Benefits Senior Analyst, you will make an impact by designing, configuring, and optimizing healthcare products and benefit plans within the Facets platform. You will be a valued member of the healthcare payer team, working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, operations, claims, network, quality assurance, and technology teams to deliver accurate, scalable, and compliant benefit solutions that support efficient benefit administration and claims adjudication.
In this role, you will:- Analyze business, operational, and regulatory requirements and translate them into effective Facets Product & Benefits configuration solutions.
- Design and configure healthcare products, benefit plans, accumulators, coverage tiers, cost-sharing structures, limits, exclusions, and network-based benefit rules.
- Facilitate requirements gathering, solution design sessions, and configuration reviews while identifying gaps, dependencies, risks, and implementation considerations.
- Validate benefit configurations through unit, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing to ensure accurate claims outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess impacts across membership, provider networks, pricing, claims processing, eligibility, and downstream systems.
- Troubleshoot configuration issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend sustainable corrective actions to improve quality and reduce production defects.
- Support implementation, release readiness, production validation, benefit renewals, product launches, and post-production stabilization activities.

What you need to have to be considered- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 6+ years of healthcare payer experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on Facets Product & Benefits configuration or implementation experience.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare benefit design, including copays, coinsurance, deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums, accumulators, coverage tiers, exclusions, limits, and network variations.
- Experience designing and configuring healthcare products and benefits within the Facets platform.
- Understanding of the relationship between benefit configuration and claims adjudication, pricing, provider networks, eligibility, and membership processing.
- Experience supporting requirements analysis, solution design, configuration validation, testing, and defect resolution.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, or other healthcare payer lines of business.
These will help you stand out- Experience supporting Facets implementations, platform migrations, product launches, benefit renewals, or large-scale remediation initiatives.
- Knowledge of Commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Exchange, and ASO healthcare products.
- Experience with SQL, data analysis, configuration comparison tools, or Facets batch and interface processes.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements, compliance controls, and audit processes.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments and cross-functional project teams.
Salary and Other Compensation:Applicants will be accepted till 10/25/2026
The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $93,000 - $109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
