Job DescriptionDescription SAIC is seeking an
FAA Automation, Information, and Weather Program Task Order/Delivery Manager to lead a portfolio of FAA Air Traffic Engineering and Professional Services (ATEPS) Task Orders with responsibility for customer relationship management, growth, cost, schedule, and performance.
This is a hybrid role requiring at least 2 days per week onsite in Washington, DC.The Task Order/Delivery Manager will serve as a trusted partner to the FAA customer-building strong relationships, proactively identifying new opportunities, and working collaboratively with SAIC operations, capture, and business development teams to drive growth while ensuring successful delivery of contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as a primary, day-to-day interface with the FAA customer, building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships.
- Develop a deep understanding of the customer's mission, priorities, and pain points to anticipate needs and recommend solutions.
- Proactively identify, qualify, and shape new and follow-on opportunities within the existing task order portfolio and adjacent FAA mission areas.
- Partner closely with SAIC operations, capture, and business development teams to develop growth strategies, white papers, and technical solution concepts that align with FAA objectives.
- Participate in customer meetings, technical exchanges, and strategy sessions to position SAIC for future work.
- Represent SAIC's capabilities and value proposition to the customer, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate and collaborate with SAIC operations leadership to align staffing, delivery approaches, and investments with customer needs and growth objectives.
- Coordinate with the customer, operations, and subcontract teammates regarding staffing changes, including additions, deletions, and increases/decreases in level of effort (LOE).
- Monitor task order performance and implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain or improve customer satisfaction.
- Assist the operations team in the preparation and deliver program status reports, briefings, and executive-level communications for both internal leadership and FAA stakeholders.
Qualifications Required Education & Experience:- Bachelors and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years or more experience; may accept additional experience in lieu of degree.
- Familiarity and understanding of the FAA and aviation.
- Program, project, or task order management experience, preferably in a customer-facing role with responsibility for relationship management and growth.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships, influence stakeholders, and work collaboratively across operations, contracts, finance, and business development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong technical and systems understanding and experience with FAA Automation, Information, and Weather Program including how to design, build and deliver these systems end-to-end.
- PMP certification.
Required Clearance:- US Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain FAA suitability (public trust and resume approval).
Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
