Program: F-35 Joint Program Office

Clearance: Secret

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated F-35 Configuration Management (CM) Analyst to play a critical role in advancing fleet readiness, mission capability, and aircraft availability. This position goes beyond traditional configuration management-serving as a key integrator across engineering, logistics, and sustainment to ensure the global F-35 supply system is aligned with the approved aircraft configuration baseline.

You will directly impact operational outcomes by ensuring the right parts and support equipment are available at the point of need-reducing downtime, minimizing Not Mission Capable (NMC) conditions, and enabling mission success.

Key Responsibilities

Readiness Integration
  • Translate engineering changes, technical directives, and configuration updates into actionable supply chain requirements
  • Ensure rapid implementation of configuration changes without degrading aircraft availability
  • Assess impacts of configuration changes on maintenance timelines, supply responsiveness, and mission-capable rates
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to fleet readiness

Cross-Functional Integration
  • Serve as a key interface between engineering, supply chain, and sustainment teams
  • Align configuration decisions with operational and readiness impacts
  • Resolve discrepancies between aircraft configuration and supply system data
  • Enable synchronized execution across the sustainment enterprise

Data Analysis & Decision Support
  • Analyze configuration-driven demand signals to improve supply alignment
  • Maintain and improve data integrity across ODIN/ALIS and related systems
  • Support real-time, data-driven decision-making to enhance readiness

Supply Chain & Maintenance Optimization
  • Ensure correct parts availability to reduce configuration-related NMC drivers
  • Improve maintenance efficiency by eliminating delays caused by incorrect or outdated components
  • Align provisioning, inventory, and distribution to current configuration requirements

Cost & Inventory Management
  • Identify and eliminate obsolete or superseded inventory
  • Reduce excess on-hand stock and improve inventory turnover
  • Minimize carrying costs and improve supply system accuracy and responsiveness

Required Qualifications
  • This position requires, at a minimum, a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. They shall demonstrate proficiency in defense acquisition processes and lifecycle sustainment, including planning, procurement, supply chain management, maintenance support, and readiness sustainment.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and system outputs
  • Familiarity with aerospace or defense sustainment environments (F-35 programmatic experience is highly desired)
  • Experience working with enterprise systems (e.g., ODIN, ALIS, or similar platforms)
  • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and influence decision-making
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in military aviation sustainment or fleet readiness
  • Knowledge of configuration control processes and technical directives
  • Experience with inventory optimization and supply chain performance analysis
  • Active security clearance (if applicable)

Impact

In this role, you will directly contribute to:
  • Increased aircraft availability and mission-capable rates
  • Reduced configuration-related maintenance delays
  • Optimized global supply chain performance
  • Improved maintenance efficiency and turnaround time
  • Reduced sustainment costs through smarter inventory management

Benefits Statement: Paradigm Max Q provides eligible employees with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; life insurance; short-term and long-term disability coverage; a 401(k)-retirement plan; paid time off (PTO) for vacation; and company paid holidays.
