They are generally the primary contact for our clients, responsible for developing work plans, designing and conducting analyses, synthesizing conclusions and managing other case team members. Associates work on a variety of client issues, such as developing growth strategies for organizations, performing due diligence on acquisition candidates, assessing attractiveness of potential targets, understanding new markets, turning around underperforming institutions, reducing operating costs and implementing change, and have the opportunity to assume immediate management responsibility.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Perform secondary research using a variety of sources (e.g., analyst reports, market research reports, news articles).

  • Executing various analyses (e.g., customer segmentation, market sizing, competitor analysis, macroeconomic forecasting) to support the strategic recommendations.

  • Design and executing in-depth interview guides with key organizational stakeholders, industry experts and customers.

  • Analyzing business plans and pro-forma financial models to help identify key assumptions and drivers.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Effective organization and time management skills with ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.

  • You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position.

  • The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.

Ideally, you'll also have

  • MBA or graduate degree with some related work experience.

  • Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
