Au sein de notre équipe Stratégie des Opérations en pleine expansion, votre mission consistera à bâtir la chaîne d'approvisionnement de demain. Celle-ci viendra soutenir nos activités de fabrication afin d'assurer la production de nos moteurs pour la prochaine décennie.

Ce positionnement unique vous place au cœur même de l'organisation. Vous agirez comme le " fil conducteur stratégique " capable d'intégrer et d'étendre les plans d'approvisionnement actuels en un ensemble cohérent.

En tant que contributeur individuel de haut niveau, vous exercerez un rôle de consultant stratégique interne. Vous mettrez à profit votre expertise technique pour orchestrer des changements structurels majeurs et influencer les décisions de la haute direction concernant l'empreinte industrielle de P&WC pour les dix prochaines années.

Ce poste à temps plein, du lundi au vendredi avec horaire flexible, est basé à Longueuil et s'exerce exclusivement sur site.

Dans ce rôle, vous piloterez des transformations industrielles d'envergure grâce à une gouvernance de projet rigoureuse et à l'exploitation avancée des données :
  • Analyse " Make / Buy " : Réaliser des analyses stratégiques, financières et opérationnelles afin de déterminer la meilleure empreinte industrielle pour les programmes moteurs actuels et futurs.
  • Stratégie opérationnelle : Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des stratégies intégrées entre les équipes de fabrication et de chaîne d'approvisionnement afin d'optimiser le réseau mondial de production et d'assurer des opérations performantes et résilientes.
  • Analyse des dépenses : Effectuer des analyses approfondies des données de dépenses par chaîne de valeur afin d'identifier des occasions d'amélioration des marges, de réduction des coûts et de création de valeur mesurable.
  • Continuité organisationnelle : Assurer une transition fluide entre les phases de conception stratégique et le déploiement opérationnel (NPI - Introduction de nouveaux produits), en garantissant un alignement optimal entre les équipes d'Ingénierie, de Fabrication et des Finances.
  • Élaboration de dossiers d'affaires : Préparer et présenter des dossiers stratégiques complexes aux comités de direction de P&WC et de RTX afin d'obtenir l'adhésion des parties prenantes pour des initiatives à fort impact.
  • Développement des capacités mondiales : Identifier et qualifier de nouveaux partenaires technologiques, au Canada et à l'international, afin de bâtir le réseau mondial d'opérations agile et robuste de demain.


Ce qu'il vous faut pour réussir

Nous recherchons un profil hybride combinant une solide expertise technique en aéronautique et de fortes compétences en gestion stratégique de projets :
  • Minimum de 10 à 12 ans d'expérience professionnelle dans le secteur aérospatial (OEM), avec une expertise reconnue des procédés de fabrication complexes (matières premières, fonderie, forge, usinage de haute précision),
    ou
    Minimum de 10 à 12 ans d'expérience professionnelle dans le secteur aérospatial ou dans une industrie manufacturière de haute précision (par exemple, l'automobile), avec une expertise reconnue des procédés de fabrication complexes (matières premières, fonderie, forge).
  • Baccalauréat en ingénierie, supply chain ou en administration des affaires, combiné à une solide exposition aux environnements techniques.
  • Un MBA constitue un atout majeur pour évoluer dans ce rôle à forte portée stratégique.
  • Expérience démontrée en négociation avec les fournisseurs.
  • Excellente capacité à tirer des enseignements stratégiques à partir de données complexes, de modèles financiers et d'analyses de dépenses.
  • Aptitude à synthétiser des enjeux complexes et à mobiliser les parties prenantes dans un environnement matriciel mondial.
  • Capacité démontrée à piloter des projets internationaux d'envergure avec un haut niveau d'autonomie, un excellent jugement stratégique et un fort esprit de collaboration.


Ce poste s'inscrit dans un milieu de travail francophone, néanmoins il nécessite une très bonne connaissance de l'anglais pour lire et comprendre, sur une base quotidienne, de la documentation et des termes techniques qui peuvent émaner d'organisations internationales, ainsi que pour écrire et communiquer en anglais avec des clients, des fournisseurs ou des collègues internationaux.

Job title: Global Sourcing Operations Strategy Expert



As part of our growing Operations Strategy team. Your mission will be to help create the supply chain of the future which will complement our Manufacturing operations to build our engines for the next decade.

This unique positioning places you at the heart of the organization. You will serve as the "strategic thread" that integrates and extends existing sourcing plans into a cohesive whole. As a high-level individual contributor, you will act as an internal strategic consultant, leveraging your technical expertise to orchestrate major structural changes and influence senior leadership decisions regarding P&WC's industrial footprint for the next decade.

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

In this role, you will lead industrial transformations through rigorous project governance and advanced data analytics:
  • "Make / Buy" analysis : Lead the decision-making analyses (financial, operational, and strategic) to determine the optimal industrial footprint for both current and future engine programs.
  • Operational Strategist : Design and implement integrated strategies between manufacturing and supply chain to optimize the global network and ensure robust operations.
  • Perform deep-dive analyses of spend data by value stream to identify opportunities for margin expansion, cost reduction, and measurable value creation.
  • Organizational Continuity : Ensure a seamless transition between strategic design phases and operational deployment (NPI), ensuring that Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance are perfectly aligned.
  • Business Case Leader: Prepare and present complex strategic dossiers to P&WC and RTX leadership committees to secure stakeholder buy-in for high-impact initiatives.
  • Global Capability Exploration: Identify and qualify new technological partners domestically and abroad to build the agile and robust global operations network of the future.


What do you need to be successful?

We are looking for a hybrid profile, combining deep aerospace technical knowledge with strategic project management skills :
  • Minimum of 10 to 12 years of professional experience in aerospace (OEM), with recognized expertise in complex manufacturing processes (raw materials, castings, forgings, complex machining)
  • or Minimum of 10 to 12 years of professional experience in aerospace or a high-precision manufacturing industry (ex. Automotive), with recognized expertise in complex manufacturing processes (raw materials, castings, forgings).
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business with strong technical exposure.
  • An MBA a major asset for navigating this strategic role.
  • Experience in negociating with suppliers
  • Demonstrated ability to extract strategic insights from complex data, financial models, and spend analysis.
  • Ability to synthesize complex issues and build consensus within a dynamic, global matrix environment.
  • Ability to lead large-scale international projects with total autonomy, sharp strategic judgment, and a strong collaborative spirit.


This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
