Responsibilities

Join a mission-driven team ensuring the delivery of timely, accurate GEOINT across the National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG), Allied System for Geospatial Intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agencies. As an Expert-Level Test Systems Engineer, you will lead testing strategy and execution across complex, large-scale systems while mentoring engineers and driving quality throughout the development lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Participates in the planning and coordination of Enterprise test events to validate system performance and requirements compliance.
  • Leads and participates in intergration, test and evaluation activities across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agency environments to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT.
  • Maintainsa total systems perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of for cloud, on premise, and hybrid services, infrastructure and security domains.
  • Participate in the planning for integration testing of system software and hardware to validate compliance with specified requirements.
  • Support technical investigations and root cause analysis for defects identified during testing activities.
  • Utilizes test management and defect tracking tools to document, track and resolve issues.
  • Reviews and comments onengineering plans and site installation technical design packages.

  • Guides the work of Senior-, Mid-, and Junior-level contractor Systems Integrators.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (or higher) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field
    • Substitutions: 4 additional years of experience may replace a STEM degree, or 2 additional years with a non-STEM degree
  • 18+ years of systems integration experience within government or industry, supporting large, complex Systems of Systems or Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environments across cloud, on-premise, or hybrid infrastructures
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
  • Experience with traditional, Agile, and DevOps development methodologies and associated testing strategies
  • Working knowledge of modern software development frameworks
  • Prior experience supporting IC or DoD programs/projects
  • Experience with NGA and/or NSG/ASG programs/projects
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.

  • Masters degree (or higher) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field
Target Salary Range$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individuals experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
